About The Commission/Board:- 

• The Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSSB - Gujarat Panchayat Seva Pasandagi Mandal) is established under section of 235 of the Gujarat Panchayatiraj Act, 1993. The Board consists of five member including the Chairman.
• The duty of the Board is to selection of candidates for recruit to Class III posts in the Panchayat Service and also advise the Panchayats in such matters as prescribed by the rules.
• The Board also conduct Departmental Examination (For Promotion in Service) of Panchayat Service Class III and Languages Exams like Hindi/Gujarati.
